I met Shivani a few months ago and before we knew it – we were meeting for coffee dates, having long phonecalls, talking about the future of wellness in India. She has worked really hard to create an eco friendly, conscious yogawear/active wear brand called Eska that aims to provide breathable, comfortable, organic cotton apparel for lounging or working out.
I tried on some of the stuff she brought over and I have to say I loved it- it was the perfect mix of comfortable and sexy. Her range includes tank tops,cover ups, shrugs and boot cut yoga pants with aztec waistbands. The colours are young, vibrant and can make the idea of walking up in the AM for a yoga class very alluring. You’ll see what I’m talking about in a second.
Eska aims to contribute by supporting the weavers, artisans and organic cotton farms of India- thereby supporting local trade and industry. Shivani Nirula makes sure she uses azo free dyes thats gentler on the skin, organic cotton and that all her products are manufactured in a fair trade facility. ESKA also has a separate range of Active wear made using high performance blends and body contoured styles to give you the best possible workout experience as well as a range of workout and loungewear for men.
